This is a painting for my friend, Dan. I wanted to give it to him as a house warming gift but it's taken over a year to get to this point. I'm having trouble with it. There's just something about it that I don't like. This is the building at 30 Rock in New York. The statue is Atlas. The colors are hard to see in the photo, dark browns on the bottom and a red brown that reminds me of Oklahoma dirt on the top.
Currently you can see that I've finished the first coat of paint. The sides and bottom are nearly if not finished. The building and Atlas are still unfinished.Please leave comments on what you think of this painting. If you criticize make it constructive.
